Naval Air Systems Command's (NAVAIR) mission is to provide full life-cycle support of naval aviation aircraft, weapons and systems operated by Sailors and Marines. This support includes research, design, development and systems engineering; acquisition; test and evaluation; training facilities and equipment; repair and modification; and in-service engineering and logistics support. NAVAIR sponsored projects include our Decision-Theoretic Planning System for Air Operations.
In collaboration with Dartmouth College, we are working on a project entitled VPN Underground sponsored by DARPA under the Cyber Fast Track Program to develop a Fingerprinter Tool & Guidelines to Limit Identifying VPN Traces.
Army Geospatial Center
The mission of the U.S. Army Geospatial Center (AGC) is to coordinate, integrate and synchronize geospatial information requirements and standards across the Army; develop and field geospatial-enterprise enabled systems and capabilities to the Army and the Department of Defense; and to provide direct geospatial support and products to the warfighter. Army Geospatial Center sponsored projects include Geospatial Exploitation of Motion Imagery and Course of Action Forecasting.
The Office of Naval Research (ONR) coordinates, executes, and promotes the science and technology programs of the United States Navy and Marine Corps. Our ONR sponsored projects include a Hybrid Knowledge Framework for Complex Operations, Population Sentiment Analysis, Marine Civil Information Management System (MARCIMS), Building Intent spatio-temporal profiling system for identifying criminal networks, Adaptive Risk-based Convoy Route Planning, and Automated Image Understanding.
Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is the Air Force's only organization wholly dedicated to leading the discovery, development, and integration of warfighting technologies for our air, space, and cyberspace forces. Our AFRL sponsored projects include Predictive Societal Indicators of Radicalism, Political Violence Forecasting Model, Commander's Learning Agent, Cyber Mission Impact Assessment, An Attack Graph Simulation Approach to Cyber Defense Training, and Cyber Security Incident Response Decision Aid.
The Cyber Security R&D Center at the Department of Homeland Security develops security technology for protection of the U.S. cyber infrastructure. Army Research Office sponsored projects include Malicious Outbound Network Traffic Detection.
We applied our stream entropy estimation algorithms developed for insider threat detection to Intel's DNS traffic through a joint collaboration with Intel Information Risk and Security group, and Dartmouth College, Department of Science. Our stream entropy approach finds anomalies in network traffic using a variety of custom measures that include divergence and reverse trending analysis.
